OK. You have to check out this tutorial because it is super easy to make these amazing and adorable DIY rings. When I first saw them, I figured they were going to be super tricky since they look so incredible. However, you only need a heart shaped ice cube tray (mine came from IKEA and I am pretty sure theirs did, too) and some pour on casting resin. (They recommend a different brand in the video but Envirotex is my favorite. I included a link below to buy supplies on Amazon, but Micheals stores and Joann Fabric also sell this product in their stores) Then you need some inexpensive fittings from the hardware store and you will be set in terms of supplies. You will need the notions for the inside of the heart and you can buy things, but I imagine if you craft, you have hundreds of things that will already work for this fun DIY project.
You can add glitter, stones, beads, pretty much any creative and colorful idea you can think of to these rings. I am about to make 20 of these for my friends for Valentine’s Day and promise I will post pics when I do. I think this would also be a super fun idea for a girls sleepover party or birthday party favor idea for older girls and teens.
So I was ultra impressed by the rings and the step by step tutorial that shows you how to make them. What really blew me away were the cute drawer pulls they made with the resin hearts. I just love these so much and want pink glitter ones for my dresser so badly.
Aren’t these a great DIY gift idea for friends? Make some for yourself, but share the rest!
So, so, so cute. Heart shaped DIY drawer pulls make cute room decor for teen girls or even little girls. Cast with resin, these inexpensive handcrafted pulls are adorable.

This AWESOME craft project will definitely create a fabulous conversation piece for your bedroom. I was so surprised when I saw what it was made of and how easy this project is to do. Believe it or not, this cool rainbow wall art is made by melting crayons with a hair dryer. It’s a unique and fun craft, and you can choose to do a bright colored theme like this or use some toned down and/or darker colors for a different look to match your decor!
Here’s how easy it is to make: Start by picking out all of your favorite colors for this inexpensive piece of art. Get your glue gun fired up and glue the crayons on like the video instructs you to do. Turn on your hair dryer and watch your board transform into something magical! Note: Some people remove the crayon wrappers, but I prefer to leave them on, the way the creator of this video has.
In this video, they make the piece of art even more interesting by adding the word LOVE. All you have to do is create a stencil using duct tape, then remove it after all the crayons are melted. If you want to change it up, you can use any word you want to. This is your own expression so pick what you want it to say. I can’t think of a more fun and rewarding project when you are trying to decorate on a budget but also make something really cool!
Keep in mind that you can use a canvas, different colored poster boards, wood and other things that you might have laying around the house. I’m the world’s greatest improviser so I use whatever I have available. When I did this, one of the things I used was an old piece of glass that was used as a table top and it turned out really awesome! When I put it on a shelf I have on the wall, it gave the effect that the crayons were dripping down the wall! Just use your imagination and don’t be afraid to change this clever project up a bit! Yours just might look better than this one!
Check out this step by step Youtube tutorial video to learn how easy it is to make you own crayon wall art.
Want some adorable room decor that is not too hard to make? I could not believe how easy this pillow was to do, since it looks so amazingly cute. The fabric roses are actually created by a glue gun, and you can use any fabric scraps you might have to make your DIY roses. Not just for pillows, this technique is also an awesome idea for making DIY wall art. You could make a heart or a letter, pretty much anything you want if you let creativity take over. This this fun DIY decor project this weekend to have some super cute heart pillows to show off just in time for Valentine’s Day. I think it is one of the best cheap crafts to decorate a teen girls room with!
